The key is in the lockbox to the left of the red door. Code: 1916. Parking is on the gravel beside the turf shed.

Before you go

Pop used towels in the bath, run the dishwasher, turn off the immersion and return the key to the lockbox.

Immersion (hot water)

Switch is in the hot press on the landing. Turn on for 45 minutes before showers, then switch off — it's not on a timer.

Wood-burning stove

Open the air vent fully, use firelighters + kindling, add 2 logs once going. Turf and logs are in the shed. Never leave burning when out.

Oil central heating

Boost button on the controller in the kitchen gives 1 hour of heat. Radiators have individual dials.

Washing machine

Under the counter by the back door. Programme 4 (40°) suits most loads. Clothes horse in the utility.
